Hello Troop 332!
Attached is the permission slip for our November campout on the 8th – 10th. We’ll be camping at Camp Birch in Yellow Springs (Dayton area). We have the Black Hoof and Red Hawk campsites reserved.
The primary activity for the campout will be fire building skills. The Scouts plan to have stations setup to teach and practice various fire building techniques throughout the day. After the day’s activities, there’s an option for Scouts that are interested to backpack and camp at an outpost location. It will be a couple miles away and is a good way to get exposure to backpacking. Also great practice for our Philmont adventurers.
Just like last month, it’s the time of year we’ll begin having visitors from local Packs come join us. Let’s please make them feel welcome.
